Warner Bros have hinted what the title of the upcoming Batman v Superman movie could be. Currently known only as Man of Steel 2, the film will see Superman take on Gotham’s Dark Knight.
Several names have been thrown about including Man of Steel: Battle of the Knight, Man of Steel: Shadow of the Knight and Man of Steel: Darkness falls. Others that have been suggested include Black of Knight, Knight falls and Beyond darkness.
Announced in September, Ben Affleck will be starring as Batman whose character has been described as a “tired and weary” crime fighter by the films executives. The announcement caused quite a stir, with many feeling he is not the right actor for the role. Henry Cavill will reprise his role as Superman from last year’s Man of Steel reboot.
There have been talks that if this 2015 movie does well, there will be a follow up Justice League film including Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash and other members of the crime fighting team.
